For most of my children’s lives that they remember, we had two dogs… a Great Dane and a Shitzu. My son who lives in Atlanta got a Great Dane nearly two years ago, and this past week they now have a Shitzu. I just think it’s humorously appropriate that they ended up with the same two dog breeds that my son grew up with. The Shitzu they got is even the same coloring as the one we owned.
My wife was telling me that they actually got a Miniature Shitzu. I hadn’t heard of that breed before. Apparently it never gets over 6 pounds. That seems pretty cool.
So anyway, here’s the pic that my wife texted to me of my son’s new dog…
yeah we have a new little girl. noting that i did want a boy pom, but i think she is just right. In the picture she is just over 3 months and only 2 pounds. They said she should be from 4 to 6 pounds since you just double the weight at 3 months. She is going to the vet this week and we will get a second opinion on her size etc. and our other baby moo moo will get her shots updated. i’ll be posting a picture of the two together on my page, just have to get one- moo hates cams.
